I have been overwhelmed with cd reviews these past two months so I am beat! I popped this bad boy in nonchalantly knowing that it was another band who music would be repetitive of everything else I had been listening to. Man was I wrong. From Beginning to end I sat there in awe feeling like I was in some dark journey in 100 degree weather with buzzing flies swarming around me. "Blessed Be Thy Name" are freaks of nature that put their all into every song. There is so much going on it's hard to choose what I want to focus on. This twisted carnival of flesh and blood will consume you.

So come on and step right up to buy this ticket to the other side of good...pure evil. Once there your forever stuck within these Purgatory flames that singe your soul. It's like you are on a never ending quest to get enough of this stellar cd. "Phallus Viscera" has 18 tracks of this craziness that you will want to ingest all at once but take your time you don't want to miss anything... Trust me! "Riddles" is sung in an almost taunting way that had this "I told you" so sort of feel.

Fans of Marilyn Mason or bands like Static X will definitely want to check this cd out. It's a fuckin metal masterpiece and these guys need to get their asses signed so they can come to NJ and I will stowaway in one of their trunks and join this maddening circus and become a slave to this insanely magical music! I was actually upset when it was over, I wanted more of "Blessed Be Thy Name." If your smart...and I know you are, you will enjoy this cd that I just couldn't get enough of.
