Bloodsimple ~ A Cruel World


When bands break up or lose members a lot of fans are disappointed and think it's the end of the road for whatever act. But that is usually because they don't look into the future to see what possible projects may rise from the ashes. Sometimes.. those projects are so phenomenal that you forget there was another band in the first place. That is exactly what occurred with Bloodsimple which was born from the remains of Vision of Disorder. Their album "A Cruel World" spans the musical spectrums of metal, hardcore and rock and yet each and every song on the album belongs. It's refreshing and brutal.. and a total must have in any music collection. My personal favorite track is "Straight Hate" with the lyrics "Pledge your Allegiance and Die for the Cause". After listening to this album I find that it's addictive and that Bloodsimple is definitely a band I want to catch live because I have a feeling that what they have to offer is even better in person.
