Egypt Central

They took the name of the toughest streets that run in their hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. Egypt Central has already rocked out on many popular tours like Family Values and Ozzfest. While I was listening to the disc, I kept thinking about how familiar this one song "Over and Under" sounded and realized it was in a movie I reviewed called "The Condemned" with Stone Cold Steve Austin.

"Taking You Down" is the kind of song that when its played live it sends the crowd into a fucking frenzy while "The Way" is slow and slinky, drawing you to a steady simmer. You fall into each song easily since the lyrics ring a bell while  you overcome all of your obstacles in life. I'll tell you this much, once you rip into the CD and get a taste you'll be promoting them by wearing all their gear..."hey! Where's my t-Shirt fuckers?"
